Job summary

American Iron & Metal is seeking a Labourer Non Ferrous Receiver to join our Lévis, Quebec team. The role focuses on receiving, sorting, and handling non-ferrous metals in a dynamic industrial environment, with an emphasis on physical work and safe operations.

You will be involved in unloading, sorting, weighing, and preparing materials for shipping or receiving while maintaining site cleanliness and adhering to HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment, recycling, or related field (asset).
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and handle physical workload.
• Forklift operation is an asset; driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and apply established procedures.
• Unload, handle, and sort materials.
• Identify, classify, and inspect non-ferrous metals.
• Weigh, organize, and prepare materials for shipping or receiving.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the site.
• Work safely in compliance with HSE standards.
• Perform other related tasks associated with operations.

You will primarily be involved in the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. This position is focused on manual labour, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable with physical work.
