Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Laborers are required to assist skilled tradespeople and perform labor activities at our various project sites.

Employees are expected to support and participate in a "culture of safety" and adhere to Strike’s Code of Conduct and Values, treating others with dignity, respect, and fairness.

POSITION DETAILS

• Based out of our Whitecourt location
• Candidates local to Whitecourt preferred

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Identify and report hazards or unsafe work practices
• Assist with installation, testing, and rigging of pipe spools and materials
• Clean construction work areas and fuel equipment as needed
• Experience with zoom boom and skid steer equipment is an asset
• Perform other activities as directed
• Participate in pre-job toolbox meetings to identify potential hazards and measures to eliminate or minimize them
• Return tools to the proper area after the job is complete or at the end of the shift
• Ensure the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment while performing tasks

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES
