Amrize Construction in Saskatoon, SK is seeking a seasonal, full-time Labourer to support site operations with a variety of manual tasks, aiming to keep projects moving efficiently and safely.

You will assist with general site maintenance, material handling, and equipment operation, while following health and safety policies. Pre-employment medical and drug testing may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Road construction experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Frequent travel between Saskatoon and surrounding areas.

About The Role

Amrize Construction is seeking a seasonal, full-time Labourer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. This role plays a crucial part in supporting construction operations by performing a variety of manual labor tasks to ensure job site efficiency and safety. The successful candidate will assist with general site maintenance, material handling, and equipment operation.

This is a full-time seasonal position.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections.
• Perform minor truck and equipment maintenance.
• Check grades to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain clean job sites by performing shoveling, raking, sweeping, and other general labor duties.
• Assist with hauling trailers when required.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Work Experience: Road construction experience

Required Training/Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Travel Requirements: Frequent travel between job sites within the City of Saskatoon and surrounding areas

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Proven ability to follow safe work procedures and complete field risk assessments.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
