Job summary

Coulson Aviation in Port Alberni, BC is seeking a dependable Labourer to support maintenance, construction and outdoor projects across company properties. This full-time role requires lifting capabilities, safe tool use and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

You’ll assist with general tasks, keep areas tidy, and help move parts and materials while following all safety procedures. Forklift experience is a plus in this position.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs.
• Familiarity with safe use of hand tools, power tools and motorized equipment.
• Ability to stay organized and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance, construction and outdoor projects.
• Clean equipment, facilities, and company property.
• Pickup and deliver parts, materials and equipment as required.
• Organize project areas, tools and materials for safe, efficient work.

• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Labourer to join our team in Port Alberni, BC. This hands-on full-time position will support a variety of maintenance, construction, and outdoor projects across company properties.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist with general maintenance, construction, and outdoor projects.
• Clean equipment, facilities, company property, and other assigned work areas.
• Pick up and deliver parts, materials, equipment, and other items as required.
• Organize project areas, tools, equipment, and materials to support safe and efficient work.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and motorized equipment within your level of training and authorization.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas to help prevent accidents and injuries.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures and promptly report hazards, incidents, or concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• A valid driver’s licence.
