Job summary

Centron Construction is seeking a General Labourer to support skilled trades on Alberta projects. You will perform hands-on site work, assist apprentices and carpenters, and help with cleanup, material handling, and setting up sites.

Position requires outdoor work, travel to job sites, ability to follow safety rules, and a positive, reliable mindset.

Responsibilities

• Daily site cleanup and organization.
• Assist trades and carpenters.

• Support with heating/hoarding and dewatering.
• Flagging and site safety support as needed.

Job Summary

The General Labourer provides hands-on manual labour to assist all trades, contractors, project and site personnel as directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily miscellaneous cleanup of building and site
• Miscellaneous site organization and moving materials
• Heating and Hoarding
• DewateringTemporary Lighting
• Assist apprentices and carpenters
• General labour for other duties as assigned
• Flagging

Unique Working Conditions

The General Labourer is required to work outdoors (subject to weather conditions) and indoors as required. Traveling to job sites is required.

Direction Received From:

• Labour Foreperson

Qualifications

• WHMIS
• CSTS an asset but not required
• Fall Arrest an asset but not required
• Flagging training an asset but not required
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

ON–THE–JOB ORIENTATION: 3 - 6 months to become proficient
