Job summary

Dalcon Constructors Ltd in Canada is seeking a Laborer for the Cobalt Camp Refinery, Ontario. You will report to work on time, assist the project superintendent, help with site cleanup, hand digging, trenching, and material handling on active construction sites.

You must be 18+, able to use hand and power tools, and work safely in extreme temperatures and confined spaces. Travel to remote communities may be required; pay is $21.98–$31.97 per hour, depending on experience.

As a Laborer for Dalcon Constructors Ltd, you will contribute to our team by:

• Actively takes direction & ask questions to ensure tasks are understood
• Cleans and prepares construction sites as needed
• Hand Digging
• Fence Maintenance

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Knowledge and use of hand and power tools
• High regard for safety and pride for quality of work
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Able to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as needed
• Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks
• Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head
• Should be able to navigate through the worksite on a daily basis
• Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure.
• Experience operating construction equipment (i.e., telehandler), will be considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is between $21.98 and $31.97 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

This position may require travel to remote communities as needed, remuneration is as per collective agreement for said travel.
