Job summary

Dalcon Constructors Ltd in North Bay, Ontario is seeking a Laborer to support our field teams on construction sites. You will report to work on time, learn safety practices, assist the superintendent, and help with site cleanup, hand digging, trenching, and operating basic equipment as needed.

Requirements include 18+, knowledge of hand and power tools, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head
• Should be able to navigate through the worksite on a daily basis
• Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure.
• Experience operating construction equipment (i.e., telehandler), will be considered an asset.

The salary range for this position is between $21.98 and $31.97 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

This position may require travel to remote communities as needed, remuneration is as per collective agreement for said travel.
