Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist I in the Anatomical Pathology Department at Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge. You will perform daily processing, testing, results analysis, and reporting of diagnostic samples to support accurate diagnoses.

Candidates should have an accredited MLT program and be eligible for CMLTA registration. Histology experience and immunohistochemistry are preferred, with a strong commitment to quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited MLT program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the CMLTA.
• Recent experience in Histology is preferred; Immunohistochemistry and special stains are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the Anatomical Pathology department.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures in processing specimens for diagnosis, treatment and research.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience (within the last 1-3 years) in Histology, in a medium sized hospital laboratory.Preference given to candidate with experience performing immunohistochemistry and special stains.
