Job summary

CSA Testing & Certification is seeking a Lab Technician who will set up and operate test equipment and conduct specific tests. The role requires recording technical data and drafting reports, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Candidates should have an engineering technician background and experience in testing.

The starting bi-weekly pay rate is $2823.64 CAD for Lab Tech I and $3274.90 CAD for Lab Tech II, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of related experience required.
• Knowledge on how to operate basic test equipment.
• Ability to follow safety practices and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Sets-up and operates test equipment.
• Records technical data and drafts reports.
• Maintains good housekeeping at all times.
• Completes Work Orders to ensure project closure.
• Acts as an liaison with other departments.
