Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is hiring a Login Technician in Calgary to perform routine and non-routine testing assignments under supervision. You will ensure timely, accurate test results while adhering to safety rules and company policies.

Responsibilities include receiving samples, documenting integrity, communicating with clients, and entering data into LIMS. The role requires a diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to work both in teams and independently as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma required.
• Ability to work in teams under pressure; flexible to shift work.
• Good English communication: reading, writing, speaking.
• Good computer skills.
• Experience operating testing equipment in a chemistry/consultant lab.
• Ability to work alone periodically under supervision.
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform tests as required.
• Ability to initiate and complete daily tasks without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples and document receipt.
• Inspect samples and information sheet; notify team leaders of issues.
• Communicate with client about sample integrity and analysis requests; document communications.
• Enter sample and client information into LIMS; assign analysis requirements and generate labels.
• Distribute samples to correct storage location; manage shipping preparation.
• Determine internal/external sublet location and prepare samples for shipping.
