Position Details

Echo NDE is seeking temporary, project-based CGSB MT2, UT2 Technicians to support turnaround operations near Fort McMurray.

Responsibilities

1. Set up and calibrate testing equipment.
2. Conduct tests on parts following established procedures.
3. Evaluate results according to standards.
4. Assist with various inspection tasks.
5. Organize and report test results.
6. Adhere to all quality and safety policies.
7. Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

1. CGSB Certification in Ultrasonic Testing UTI or UTII.
2. CGSB Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing MTII.
3. Reside locally or be willing to relocate to Fort McMurray, AB.
4. Experience in facility, pipeline, and weld inspection preferred.
5. Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Clear communication skills in English.
7. Ability to pass vision and color detection tests.
8. Valid driver’s license (class 5) with a clean record.
9. Ability to work well in a team.
10. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
11. Willingness to work long hours and weekends away from home.
