• Carrying out tests within Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete Laboratories.
• Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition.
• Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely.

We have an immediate opening for aLaboratory Technicianto join our Materials Testing group in our London, ON office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Carrying out aggregate, asphalt,soil and concrete tests within our Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete Laboratories;
• Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition;
• Assisting management team in laboratory certification, and record keeping;
• Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely;
• Operating computerized and digital testing equipment.

What your experience looks like

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete testing Laboratory;
• Possess a current CCIL / CSA Certification for concrete (field and laboratory) an asset;
• Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates / Asphalt / Soils an asset;
• Knowledge in Physical Properties and Petrographic Number determinations an asset;
• Experience with Marshall and Superpave testing;
• Strong focus on Health and Safety;
• Posses a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
• Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities;
• Ability to work overtime in peak periods;
• Excellent organizational skills and time management a must;
• Proficiency with the windows operating system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
• Able to organize, prioritize, set and adjust priorities and schedules independently.
