Dynacare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant – LHSC to process blood samples and related specimens, enter requisitions and results accurately, and provide excellent patient-centered service. The role emphasizes empathy, precision, and timely data handling in a 100% onsite setting.
The position is permanent full-time with Mon-Fri hours (8:00am–4:30pm) at Rutland LHSC (5E). Applicants must be CSMLS/BCSLS certified or MLA program graduates, with relevant phlebotomy experience and strong English

As a Laboratory Assistant - LHSC, you are responsible for processing blood samples and other laboratory specimens, entering requisitions and results accurately – all in a timely manner. You also play an important role in providing customer service to create the best possible patient experience. These can be stressful situations for patients, and you need to display empathy, care, and kindness. Testing results are often critical for patients, and you are there to help and make an impact on their lives.

Hours of Work: Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8.00am - 4.30pm

Pay rate: $27.00-$30.75 per hour. The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
