Alberta Precision Labs is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to work in a fast-paced, public-facing Patient Service Centre in Grande Prairie. You will perform venipuncture, ECGs on outpatients, and support specimen handling and testing processes in a patient-centered lab environment.

The role offers a 0.50 FTE, part-time schedule with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends, and includes a competitive hourly wage with a remote retention allowance up to $3,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
• Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.

Required Qualifications:

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.In addition to a competitive rate of pay, APL currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience.ECG experience.
