Job summary

Wind River is seeking a Lab Operations – Member of Technical Staff in Ottawa to build and manage cloud lab environments and embedded systems test beds on site. The role emphasizes strong networking, Linux, and hardware proficiency, with occasional remote work as needed to support lab customers and meet in-office requirements.

Qualifications

BS/BA in CS, Networking, Lab Management, EE or IT.
5–10 years in computers, networking, lab infra, embedded systems.
Strong L2/L3 networking, VXLAN, PTP expertise.
Ability to debug with a multimeter or oscilloscope.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain cloud lab environments.
Configure and document network configurations (L2/L3, IPv4/IPv6).
Set up servers via iDRAC/BMC/iLO and manage firmware/BIOS.
Document network interfaces and connections.
Provide lab user support and assist with incidents.
