Job summary

Mosaic Diagnostics LLC is seeking a Laboratory Assistant (Levels I–III) for on-site work in Overland Park, KS. The role supports inventory management, sample preparation, labeling, and general lab operations to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.

The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines. Levels I–III offer increasing responsibilities, including training and process improvements within a fast-paced lab

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or associate degree in chemistry or biology, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Medical terminology is preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory inventory of consumables and monitor stock levels.
• Prepare, organize, and stage samples for testing or storage.
• Label tubes, vials and containers accurately to support workflows.
• Handle simple non-technical cleanup and equipment upkeep per SOPs.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with SOPs and regulations.
• Record completed tasks accurately and communicate issues to supervisor.
