Job summary

Kraken is expanding its Core Infrastructure team to evolve and scale a Kubernetes-based platform across multiple datacenters. You will work with senior engineers, SRE, Networking, and Security to deliver a stable, scalable, and secure foundation for all workloads.

The role focuses on hands-on cluster operations, automation, and collaboration to reduce toil while maintaining high availability for Kraken's global services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure/Platform/DevOps, or similar.
• Strong Linux knowledge, shell proficiency, and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of Kubernetes internals and orchestration concepts.
• Ability to script with Python/Bash/Go or similar.

Responsibilities

• Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters across datacenters.
• Triage infrastructure issues and improve reliability and performance.
• Build automation tooling and reduce toil for engineering teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain platform reliability.
