Job summary

Talantir in Vancouver is looking for a seasoned Kubernetes-focused DevOps Engineer for a contract engagement. You will manage Kubernetes clusters in enterprise settings, drive CI/CD automation, and implement GitOps workflows across cloud and on‑prem environments.

This role requires strong communication and the ability to design deployment plans as reusable modules. The successful candidate will possess CKA/CKAD, deep knowledge of KubeVela, Python, and experience with cloud platforms

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Cloud/DevOps/Onprem environments.
• 4–5 years managing Kubernetes clusters at enterprise scale.
• CKA or CKAD certification mandatory.
• Proficient with KubeVela.
• Proficient in Python and GitOps.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure or on‑prem.
• Ability to declare deployment plan as a workflow and automate with CI/CD or GitOps; extend with CUE.

Description

• Total 7+ years' experience in Cloud / DevOps / Onprem .
• 4 to 5 Years' experience in managing Kubernetes clusters in enterprise level . ( Mandatory)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes application developer ( CKA / CKAD certification ) is Mandatory . (Mandatory)
• Good Knowledge in KubeVela . (Mandatory)
• Good knowledge in Python and GitOps (Mandatory)
• Good Communication skills. (Mandatory)
• Knowledge in one of the cloud platforms like AWS / GCP / Azure or Onprem systems (optional).
• Declare deployment plan as workflow, run it automatically with any CI/CD or GitOps system, extend or re-program the workflow steps with CUE ( KubeVela) . Orchestrate all your infrastructure (Kubernetes) capabilities as reusable modules .
