Term: 6-month contract to start
Are you passionate about Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and designing the architecture that powers enterprise-scale engineering teams?
An industry-leading healthcare organization is expanding its mature Cloud Engineering practice and is looking for a Kubernetes Architect to help define the next generation of its cloud platform. This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on technical architecture role where you'll bridge cloud strategy and engineering execution.
Working closely with the Director of Cloud Engineering, cloud engineering leaders, architects, and platform teams, you'll translate strategic cloud initiatives into implementation‑ready architecture, reference designs, and technical standards. You'll influence how Kubernetes platforms evolve across the organization while partnering directly with engineering teams responsible for delivering those solutions.
This is not an Enterprise Architect position. You'll remain close to the technology, working alongside engineers to design scalable, secure, and modern Kubernetes platforms that accelerate application delivery across the enterprise.
Join a collaborative Cloud Engineering organization with an already mature Kubernetes practice that is investing heavily in platform modernization, AI initiatives, and cloud innovation. You'll have the opportunity to shape enterprise Kubernetes architecture, influence engineering standards, and work alongside experienced cloud leaders while remaining technically hands‑on.
One of your first major initiatives will be helping define the organization's Gateway API architecture, creating the technical blueprint that engineering teams will implement as part of a broader platform modernization strategy.
