We are seeking a passionate KS2 teacher who will:
- Deliver high-quality, creative classroom practice

- Motivate pupils and colleagues through professionalism and enthusiasm

Job Purpose
The postholder will be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring
equality of opportunity for all, and will work within statutory frameworks and uphold the values of the
school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Set clear targets and assess pupils’ progress
- Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
- Communicate with parents and external agencies
- Lead and support staff within the classroom
- Maintain professional development and up-to-date knowledge
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Essential: Qualified Teacher Status
- Desirable: Evidence of CPD (e.g., INSET)
Experience
- Essential: Teaching at Key Stage 1 or 2
- Desirable: Experience across primary age range, engaging with parents
Knowledge & Understanding
- Effective classroom and learning strategies
- Statutory National Curriculum knowledge
- Child protection, SEN, Health & Safety legislation
- Range of teaching and assessment methods
Skills
- Inspire, lead and support learning
- Communicate clearly in writing and speech
