Job summary

Brandt Industries Canada Ltd is seeking a Kitting Technician for our Regina, SK location. You will manage incoming components, stage materials for production, and ensure on-time delivery to all departments.

Collaborate with Purchasing and Planning to resolve part shortages and support continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have forklift experience and strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in forklift and tractor operating.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Procurement knowledge/understanding.
• Physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel and products.
• Capable of working under minimal supervision.
• Able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions regarding material requisitions.
• Must have knowledge of steel dimensions and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manage & warehouse incoming components and prepare items for production.
• Work with Purchasing and Planning to confirm information on projects.
• Review schedules and ensure components are gathered and staged for production.
• Ensure jobs are on time to all departments when requested.
• Print picklists from BrandtLink and coordinate part requests withPurchasing/Planning.
• Follow up to ensure needed parts are provided on time.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement by reducing movement and set ups.
• Troubleshoot delivery obstacles by evaluating processes and suggesting adjustments.
• Communicate with Area Managers/Foreman to align with needs.
• Assist Purchasing in returning unneeded components after project completion.
• Maintain 5S organized workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
