Brandt Industries Canada Ltd in Regina, SK is seeking a Kitting Technician to manage incoming components and prepare materials for production. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Planning and shop leadership to resolve shortages and keep production flowing, while maintaining 5S standards and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience in forklift and tractor operating.
• Demonstrate the ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
• Procurement knowledge/understanding.
• Physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel and products as required.
• Capable of working under minimal supervision.
• Able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions regarding departmental operations including material requisitions.
• Must have knowledge of steel dimensions and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manage & warehouse incoming components.
• Work with Purchasing and Planning to develop and confirm project information.
• Review daily/weekly schedule; ensure components are gathered, staged and ready for production.
• Ensure all jobs are on time to all departments when requested.
• Print picklists from BrandtLink.
• Send requests for needed parts to purchasing/material planning and material processing.
• Follow up to ensure needed parts are provided on time.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement to reduce movement and set ups.
• Troubleshoot obstacles to on-time delivery by evaluating processes and requesting adjustments.
• Communicate with Area Managers/Foreman to align with needs.
• Assist with Purchasing in returning unneeded components after project completion.
• Maintain orderliness per 5S principles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Brandt Industries Canada Ltd is currently seeking a Kitting Technician for our Regina, SK location. The Kitting Technician is responsible for managing incoming components and preparing all materials required for production to support smooth shop flow. This role reviews schedules, gathers and stages components, and ensures jobs are delivered to each department on time. The technician communicates with Purchasing, Planning, and shop leadership to resolve part shortages and support continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Responsible For
