Job summary

Vantage Endoscopy in Canada seeks a Clinical Trainer to deliver on-site product training across the full portfolio, ensuring clinicians gain proficiency and confidence with our high-tech solutions.

You will educate the sales team on clinical applications, develop relationships with customers, support trials and installations, lead lectures and wet labs, and maintain training materials. Travel up to 75% of the time is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science or related field required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site product training across the full Vantage portfolio to ensure clinical proficiency.
  • Educate and support the internal sales team on clinical application and product features.
  • Develop and sustain meaningful customer relationships through proactive communication.
  • Provide on-site support for product trials and installations (approx. two weeks per occurrence).
  • Represent Vantage Endoscopy at conferences and education events; support booths as a clinical resource.
  • Lead classroom lectures and hands-on wet lab training tailored to diverse clinical audiences.
  • Organize, develop, and maintain training materials and course documentation for installs and ongoing education programs.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify and develop new business opportunities with a clinical focus.
  • Act as a technical SME to drive sales of targeted medical products and solutions.

Job description

Vantage Endoscopy are leading sales focused distribution organizations specializing in high tech niche diagnostic and therapeutic medical products focused on Endoscopy/GI Suite, GI Clinics across Canada.

What you’ll do:

This role is responsible for a variety of functions that include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver comprehensive on-site product training to customers across the full Vantage portfolio, ensuring clinical proficiency and confidence at every level.
  • Educate and support the internal sales team on the clinical application, technical features, and therapeutic value of portfolio products.
  • Develop and sustain meaningful customer relationships through proactive, timely, and professional communication.
  • Provide dedicated on-site support for product trials and installations, with a typical commitment of approximately two weeks per occurrence.
  • Represent Vantage Endoscopy at conferences and customer education events, providing booth support and serving as a credible clinical resource.
  • Lead in-depth classroom lectures and hands-on wet lab training sessions tailored to diverse clinical audiences.
  • Organize, develop, and maintain all training materials and course documentation for product installs and ongoing education programs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities, advancing them forward with a clinical and evidence-based focus.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing specialized support to drive sales of targeted medical products and solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (required)

Hours and Locations:
  • This role requires travel up to 75% of the time, including some weekend travel.
Health & Safety Responsibilities: The successful candidate is expected to support and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, including:
  • Maintaining safe systems of work for manual handling, vehicle movements, storage, and equipment use (if applicable).
  • Reporting incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and assisting with investigations.
  • Follow site rules, safe working procedures, and use PPE as required.
