Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is seeking a warehouse associate at our Nisku facility in Alberta. The role involves loading/unloading, packing, inventory checks, and moving materials using hand or equipment, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will handle subassemblies, assist with inventory, and perform related duties in a commercial/industrial setting, with overtime as required. Reliable transportation is preferred for commuting to the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with equipment.

  • Check subassembly counts and verify items meet visual quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory and weighing/checking and sorting materials.
  • Put away received materials to proper storage locations.
  • Confirm inventory transactions are completed.
  • Participate in site clean-up and housekeeping.
  • Follow safety program standards and Alberta OH&S Act and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Overview

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions.

This role is located at our facility in Nisku and you must have a reliable transportation to commute.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment.
  • Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment).
  • Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and items meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies to the fabrication area.
  • May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking and sorting materials.
  • Put away received materials to proper storage locations
  • Confirm inventory transactions are complete.
  • Participate in clean-up.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
  • Other duties as required.

Working Conditions
  • Commercial/Industrial environment.
  • Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.
  • Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).
  • Employee may be exposed to uncomfortable work settings such as cold weather outdoors; may have combinations of standing, crouching, or sitting throughout the day.
