Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership in Edmonton is seeking a warehouse associate to load, unload, and move products, and to assist in packaging and inventory tasks.

Candidates must have reliable transportation, be able to lift 40+ pounds, and be comfortable with rotating day and weekend night shifts in a commercial/industrial environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment.
• Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart and deliver to point of use in the plant.
• Check subassembly counts and visual quality; report discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory tasks and weigh/check/sort materials.
• Store received materials in proper locations and confirm inventory transactions.
• Participate in clean-up and maintain safety standards.
• Perform duties per safety program and Alberta OHS Act and related codes.
• Other duties as required.

Overview

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions.

This role is located at our facility in Edmonton and you must have a reliable transportation to commute.

This role is offered on the following shift options:

• Rotating Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including some weekends.
• Weekend Night Shift: Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment.

• Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment).

• Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and items meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies to the fabrication area.

• May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking and sorting materials.

• Put away received materials to proper storage locations

• Confirm inventory transactions are complete.

• Participate in clean-up.

• Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.

• Other duties as required.

• Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.

• Employee may be exposed to uncomfortable work settings such as cold weather outdoors; may have combinations of standing, crouching, or sitting throughout the day.
