Job summary

Goodness-Me is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support our Eatery's food preparation and back-of-house operations. You will help prepare ingredients, maintain quality and safety, keep the kitchen stocked, and present foods attractively for customers.

Responsibilities include following recipes, completing daily prep tasks, handling food safely, and assisting with merchandising and guest inquiries. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Interest in food, cooking, and healthy living.
• Experience in a food service, kitchen, prepared foods, grocery, or retail env.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts.

Responsibilities

• Preparing food, ingredients, and beverages according to recipes and procedures.
• Complete daily prep tasks including washing, cutting, portioning, cooking, assembling, packaging, labeling.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, temperature control, and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and prep area.
• Perform opening, operating, and closing duties as required.
• Receive and store deliveries and organize supplies.
• Assist with merchandising and presentation of Eatery offerings.
• Provide friendly service to customers and answer basic questions.
• Adhere to Food Safety Protocols and Health & Safety requirements.
