Job summary

Service Inspired Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support daily kitchen operations and food quality. You will assist with prep, training, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while collaborating with the Kitchen Manager to optimize workflows.

Strong English communication, computer proficiency, and 1–3 years of supervisory kitchen experience are required; Culinary Red Seal and Smart Serve are assets.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years kitchen management/supervisory experience in a comparable restaurant environment.
• Culinary Red Seal designation and Smart Serve Certification are strong assets
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficient in computer use and quick to learn new software
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, product cost, and labor control is an asset

Responsibilities

• Support the Kitchen Manager in daily kitchen operations.
• Assist with food prep and quality control.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
