Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils. You will keep the kitchen, work areas, and equipment orderly and sanitary, supporting a smooth food-prep operation.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, previous dishwashing experience is preferred but not required, and a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform dishwashing duties in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Comfortable working around heat and water.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils.
• Polish silver using specified equipment and procedures.
• Maintain dish and kitchen areas and ensure equipment is clean and safe.
• Wash worktables, walls, and prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and dispose of it in designated containers.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and transferring supplies between areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
