Job summary

Kibbi in Winnipeg is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead day-to-day back-of-house operations across restaurant, banquet, and breakfast services. You will oversee kitchen staff, ensure food quality and safety, manage inventory and costs, and drive menu execution with a focus on efficiency and consistency.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in kitchen management within high-volume hospitality, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid grasp of food safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, or similar role.
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
