Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew members for future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality and safety, maintain a clean and well-stocked kitchen, and model teamwork to deliver a great guest experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, adherence to policies, and the ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week with open availability across days, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables.
• Order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked and ensure equipment is maintained.
