Job summary

Sushi California in Vancouver is hiring for a dishwasher/kitchen helper. You will operate dishwashers, sanitize dishes, and maintain clean work areas in a busy kitchen.

Role involves storing supplies, cleaning surfaces and equipment, and supporting food prep tasks as needed. English is the working language; full-time hours and youth-friendly on-the-job training are typical.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in dishwashing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Place dishes in storage area.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators and storage areas.
