Job summary

K Motel Steakhouse & Family Restaurant in Swift Current, SK is looking for a permanent, full-time kitchen worker. You will wash dishes, assist with food prep, and help keep the kitchen clean; training is provided and on-site work is required.

You will work 30–40 hours per week at 16.00 CAD per hour, with morning, day, evening and weekend shifts. The employer notes starts as soon as possible and requires work at the physical location.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• No experience (will train)

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
