Job summary

The Flats Eatery + Drink in Estevan, SK is seeking a dishwashing/short-order helper to support daily kitchen operations on site. The role involves cleaning dishes, stocking, basic food prep and maintaining sanitation at the cafe.

Wage is $15.70 per hour, 40 hours per week, with shifts including mornings, days and possibly evenings. Start date as soon as possible; on-site work only; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, carts, waste disposal units and related items.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Load buspans and trays.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Package take-out food.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
