Adecco Canada is currently seeking a part-time Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen and dining operations in a fast-paced food service setting. You will assist with food preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, customer service, and general dining area maintenance.

Adecco is currently hiring a part-time Kitchen Helper for our client. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced food service environment.
In this role, you will support daily kitchen and dining operations by assisting with food preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, customer service, and general dining area maintenance. You will play an important role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming experience for customers and staff.
Pay Rate: $17.60/hour
Location: Trenton, ON
Shift: Monday to Sunday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Serve customers at the deli or food service counter
Replenish utensils, condiments, beverages, and other dining area supplies
Help maintain a positive dining experience by ensuring service areas remain clean and organized
Assist cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables
Wash pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
Support kitchen staff with general food service duties as required
Load and unload industrial dishwashers
Inspect dishes, utensils, and cookware to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food service areas
Follow all health, safety, and food handling procedures
Clear tables and clean dining areas
Collect garbage, recyclables, and food waste for disposal
Transport waste materials to designated disposal areas
Perform routine cleaning duties, including wiping tables, counters, and food service stations
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace
Previous food service, cafeteria, kitchen, hospitality, or customer service experience is considered an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks
Food Safe certification is considered an asset
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
