Taste of Asia is the largest buffet in Prince Albert that can seat over 200 people. Our restaurant has become very popular for the affordable menus as well as friendly staff. We offer dining-in and take-out services of a large variety of Chinese buffet, traditional local dishes, and a fusion cuisine of other countries. As we are getting more customers these days, we are looking for two dedicated Kitchen Helpers to ensure and maintain a smooth daily operation and high-quality food services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances.
2. Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties.
3. Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
4. Wash and peel vegetables and fruit.
5. Wash work tables, cupboards and appliances.
6. Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
7. Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas.
8. Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
9. Clear and clean tables and trays in eating establishments.
10. Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
11. Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and in serving areas.
12. Remove dishes before and after courses.
13. Perform other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes, carrying linen to and from laundry area and running errands.
14. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand.
15. Place dishes in storage area.
16. Scour pots and pans, and may clean and polish silverware.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Completion of secondary school.
2. No experience required.
3. Restaurant experience is a plus.
4. Well organized.
