Job summary

MASK INDIAN KITCHEN + BAR INC. in Niagara Falls, ON seeks a Kitchen helper to join our busy kitchen team. This permanent, full-time role has 2 openings and pays $34.20 hourly for a 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing items, stocking and organizing kitchen areas, assisting with dishwashing, food prep and portioning, and maintaining cleanliness in all work surfaces. Training is provided and fluency in English is required.

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to the serving areas and set tables.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must be able to use dishwashers to clean dishes, glasses, and flatware.
• The candidate must place dishes in the storage area.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate will be responsible for keeping track of the food quantities consumed.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate will be responsible for stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
• The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.

Job Requirements
