Job summary

Fiorenza’s Italian restaurant in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC is seeking a kitchen helper for a seasonal role. Start date April 15, 2027; end date October 31, 2027. Basic English required.

No degree or prior experience needed as training will be provided. This is an on-site position with no remote option. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing dishes and surfaces, packaging take-out food, stocking refrigerators, using basic kitchen tools, receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen items and waste disposal units.
• Package take-out food.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and storage areas.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
• Food safety knowledge is recommended.
