Job summary

At A&W Whyte Ave, the Kitchen Crew member will help prepare food and keep the kitchen running smoothly. This hands-on role fits someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and learning valuable skills in a supportive environment.

You’ll work graveyard shifts (10:00 PM–6:00 AM), up to 40 hours per week, with wage progression from $15.10/hour to $16.00/hour after training. English is required, and on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare A&W menu items following safety and quality standards.
• Cook burgers, fries, breakfast items, and other products efficiently.
• Assemble orders accurately, even during busy periods.
• Keep workstations stocked, organized, and running smoothly.
• Restock fridges, freezers, and ingredient stations.
• Monitor food levels and communicate needs to the team.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, prep surfaces, and utensils.
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Work closely with Cashiers, Supervisors, and other team members.
• Communicate clearly during rush periods.
• Support a positive, respectful workplace.
