ESS Compass is seeking a Kitchen General Help in Wawa, Ontario, to support daily operations across cooking, serving, dishwashing and food preparation. The role requires following safety standards, food safety practices and quality control for portioning and temperatures.

The position offers 12hr day shifts, a casual part-time arrangement, and local applicants. Experience in food service is an asset; Food Safe certification is required, with a wage of $21.00 per hour in Canada.

• Food Safe certification.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in team setting as required.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous food service experience in a restaurant, banquet or remote camp setting is considered an asset.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Minor heavy lifting may be involved (up to 40 lb.).

As Kitchen General Help you will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

• Dispense food for next day of production and plate individual meals.
