Longo's is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Department Manager to lead and mentor a Team in a fast-paced grocery setting. This full-time role supports the Food Service Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service.

You will drive team performance, coordinate meetings, training, scheduling, and inventory while upholding health and safety standards and company policies. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a food service department with solid product knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with team members and customers.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
