Job summary

Momentum Health Corporation in Calgary is seeking a full-time Kinesiologist to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves guiding patients through therapeutic exercise programs, assessments, and collaborative care across physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage therapy.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Compensation is CAD 18–20 per hour, with benefits after 90 days, and a strong focus on patient experience and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and strong knowledge of anatomy/physiology.
• Experience or volunteer work in a physiotherapy or multidisciplinary clinic is advantageous.
• Strong communication with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, apply, supervise and educate Therapeutic Exercise Programs (AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, balance, strengthening).
• Assist Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations.
• Learn and administer hands-on treatment techniques including trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, Friction massage and hold relax stretching.
• Apply and remove modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current and Muscle Stimulation.
• Assist with clinic upkeep such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools.
• Greet patients and ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic.
• Network with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and registered massage therapists.
