Job summary

Momentum Health Corporation in Calgary is seeking a full-time Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary clinic. You will work with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists and other professionals to guide patient care and implement exercise programs. Start date as soon as possible.

Compensation is 18–20 CAD per hour. Benefits after 90 days of employment. A Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology is required, with strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology and a collaborative approach to

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, apply, supervise and educate patients on Therapeutic Exercise Programs.
• Assist with Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations.
• Learn and administer hands-on techniques (trigger point release, MRT, Soft Tissue Release).
• Apply and remove modalities (heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current).
• Greet patients and ensure a comfortable clinic experience.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors and massage therapists.

Responsibilities:

• Prescription, application, supervision and education of patient’s Therapeutic Exercise Programs including: AROM, PROM, stretching, proprioception, coordination, balance and strengthening
• Assist Physiotherapy assessments and re-evaluations
• Learn and administer several hands‑on treatment techniques including basic trigger point release, MRT, Instrumented Soft Tissue Release, Friction massage and hold relax stretching
• Application and removal of modalities including heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS, IFC, micro-current and Muscle Stimulation
• Assisting with clinic up-keep such as laundry, cleaning patient beds, filling ultrasound gel, and cleaning machines and tools
• Greet patients and ensure they have a comfortable experience in the clinic
