Job summary

DMARehability, a Lifemark Health Group Company, seeks a Kinesiologist to deliver community-based rehabilitation in Windsor, London, and Kitchener, Ontario. You will assess needs, develop plans, and support clients toward independence with clinical autonomy and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (COKO) or eligibility for registration.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Client-centered and collaborative rehabilitation approach.
• Ability to work independently within a community-based practice model.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Deliver evidence-informed treatment in community, home, and workplace settings.
• Complete functional, mobility, ergonomic and home-safety assessments.
• Support clients with diverse complex rehabilitation needs.
• Develop return-to-work and functional restoration strategies.
• Collaborate with clients, families, employers, and healthcare professionals.
• Prepare timely clinical documentation and reports.
• Manage caseload with autonomy while staying connected to the team.

Your impact

As a Kinesiologist with DMARehability, you will assess client needs, develop individualized rehabilitation plans, and support clients in achieving greater independence and participation in their daily lives.

Depending on your experience and caseload, your work may include:

• Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments in community, home and workplace environments.
• Developing and implementing evidence-informed treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Completing functional, mobility, ergonomic and home-safety assessments.
• Supporting clients with acquired brain injury, musculoskeletal injuries and other complex rehabilitation needs.
• Developing return-to-work and functional restoration strategies.
• Recommending equipment, assistive devices and environmental modifications where appropriate.
• Collaborating with clients, families, employers, insurers, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Preparing timely, high-quality clinical documentation and reports.
• Managing your caseload with a high degree of professional autonomy while remaining connected to a supportive clinical team.

What You Bring

• Registration and good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (COKO), or eligibility for registration.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• A client-centred and collaborative approach to rehabilitation.
• Ability to work independently within a community-based practice model.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community-based work, as required.

Experience in community rehabilitation, auto insurance, acquired brain injury, functional assessment, catastrophic injury, disability management or return-to-work is an asset.

New graduates and internationally educated Kinesiologists who meet Ontario registration requirements are encouraged to apply.
