Job summary

Lifemark Health Group’s Pembroke clinic is seeking a dedicated Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a permanent full-time role. You will conduct biomechanical and functional assessments, design graded exercise and work-conditioning programs, and help clients return to work, while documenting progress and communicating with the team.

Ontario registration, a kinesiology degree, and 1–5 years in Occupational Rehabilitation are preferred; Lifemark offers mentorship, education funding,

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario.
• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program.
• 1–5 years of work experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under supervision.
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts regularly.
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one‑on‑one education to clients.
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been documented.

Qualifications:

• Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario
• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• Preferably with 1-5 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation is considered an asset
