Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario
• Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program
• New licensed graduates are encouraged to apply
• 1-5 years of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is preferred

Key Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under supervision
• Design and supervise exercise, work conditioning, and work hardening programs
• Teach exercise classes to seniors at a Retirement Residence in Westboro
• Conduct biweekly reassessments of client progress
• Document findings and progress in client charts
• Collaborate with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Provide group and individual education sessions
• Complete reports for initial assessments, progress, and discharge
• Develop return-to-work plans with clients and employers
