The successful candidate will possess the ability to perform ergonomic assessments, POETs, work hardening, and facilitate FCEs. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of clinicians and gain exposure to complex occupational rehab cases.

In this role you will:

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist
• Design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning, and work hardening programs
• Conduct biweekly reassessments of client progress through functional testing
• Record findings in client charts regularly
• Work with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Conduct group orientation, education lectures, and one-on-one education sessions
• Complete reports for initial, progress, and discharge assessments
• Ensure return-to-work plans are documented and coordinated with clients and employers

Qualifications:

• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• 2+ years of experience is an asset
• Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required
