Job summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Kinesiologist to join our outpatient clinic in Calgary. The role focuses on ergonomic assessment, FCEs, and graded exercise programs within a collaborative team of clinicians.

You will contribute to work conditioning and return-to-work planning, with start date anticipated for September 9, 2026. This full-time position offers a dynamic environment, client education, and progression opportunities as you support recovery and safe return to life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program.
• 2+ years of experience considered an asset.
• Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist.
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
• Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
• Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis.
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
• Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
• Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart.

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more. Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.
