Job summary

Lifemark, Canada's largest physiotherapy company, is seeking a Kinesiologist to join our outpatient clinic. You will perform ergonomic and functional assessments, design graded exercise and work conditioning programs, and contribute to complex occupational rehab cases.

Collaborate with a team of clinicians, conduct client education, and ensure comprehensive documentation and return-to-work planning.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program.
  • 2+ years of experience is an asset.
  • Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist.
  • Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs.
  • Perform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testing.
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals.
  • Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients.
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge.
  • Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
Status: Permanent Full time

We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more. Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.

In this role you will:
