Job summary

CBI Health Abbotsford is seeking a Registered Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary clinic and rehabilitation services program. You will provide one-on-one and group exercise prescription, perform functional assessments, coordinate disability management, and design return-to-work plans for clients with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, or mood-related conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized School of Kinesiology.
• Registered with the BCAK in good standing.
• Experience with Return to Work and Job Site Visits and Chronic Pain clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription.
• Provide disability management coordination.
• Complete functional assessments and associated reports.
• Work with client profiles ranging from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive/mood related.
• Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs.
• Perform job site visits and design return to work plans.
• Teach a variety of group education classes.

CBI Health in Abbotsford is currently seeking a Kinesiologist to join our clinic and inter-disciplinary rehabilitation services program. If you consider yourself an outgoing, energetic and collaborative person, this position might be for you!

Located in the heart of the Fraser Valley, CBI Health Abbotsford is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic committed to helping clients get back to the activities, work and life they love. Our experienced team brings together Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Occupational Therapists and mental health professionals, creating a collaborative environment where clinicians can learn from one another and provide truly client-centred care.

• Be responsible for the provision of one-on-one and group kinesiology exercise prescription
• Provide disability management coordination
• Complete functional assessments and associated reports
• Work with a client profile that can range from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, to cognitive and/or mood related
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
• Perform job site visits and design return to work plans
• Teach a variety of group education classes

Hourly Rate Range: $25.00 - $35.00, variable rate
