Upper Canada District School Board seeks a Registered Early Childhood Educator to support learning in the kindergarten program under the principal's direction. The educator collaborates with the classroom teacher to plan, implement, and assess engaging learning experiences for students and families.

This role requires working knowledge of child development, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to English and/or French classroom settings within a diverse, respectful environment.

Competenze

• University degree in early child development or a 2-year post-secondary diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
• Minimum of 2-3 years recent experience in related child care.
• Assignments may include English and/or French classroom settings.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and deliver learning experiences for kindergarten students.
• Supervise students and ensure safety in the absence of the teacher.
• Support student development through guided play and observation.
• Maintain positive communications with parents/legal guardians and school staff.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in student assessments and documentation.
